Kalina creates Scandinavian-inspired natural gifts and home goods made with pure materials, timeless forms, and an unwavering commitment to non-toxic living.
From beeswax candles to wooden kitchen tools, each piece is designed in-house and handcrafted by small ateliers across the Baltic region.
Founders note
Kalina was created from a wish to bring back the kind of honest, natural goods I grew up with in Latvia, where daily life followed the seasons and was shaped by simple, handmade things. Beeswax, wood, linen; materials that carried warmth and integrity.
Over time, I realized how rare that kind of quality has become. Kalina is my way of keeping it alive: creating thoughtful pieces that are meant to last and feel good to use.
Each item is made by artisans in small European studios, using pure, non-toxic materials and traditional techniques. They are not designed to be sustainable; they simply are, shaped with the same care and respect for nature that continue to guide me today.
I hope that Kalina inspires you to choose fewer, but better things, and to find beauty in the honesty of handmade craft.
